Ironwood Estate Wins SSB

Well respected and supported Porongurup based Ironwood Estate Wines has delivered more silverware at the 2025 WA Wine Awards held in October.

Ironwood received Silver for their 2024 Shiraz and 2025 Riesling as well as Bronze for their 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Owner Jemima Harma said the ongoing award success was the result of hard work and perseverance.

"Our family has built Ironwood up over three decades and the success at the 2025 WA Wine Awards is welcome recognition to a long term commitment to delivering quality wines” said Mrs Harma

“The 2024 Shiraz is a great cool climate red, with classic calling cards of plum, pepper and a delicious sweet softness."

The Riesling silver builds on a gold from last year’s awards and speaks to the quality of Porongurup as a Riesling area as much as anything," she said.

This win is also on the back of the 2024 Shiraz receiving a bronze medal at the 2025 WA Boutique & Single Vineyard Wine Show.
